DRESS FOR SUCCESS

Of course I need to show my own dress at the ELLE gala so here it comes. The dress is actually a night slip that I made for a collection called " I don't care, I have underwear" in 2006. It felt good since I do design the nightwear for H&M and skin colour is the springs trend colour. I also added a picture when you can see my nose behind Marcus Schenkenbergs back...

COLOUR FOOD: YELLOW

It is always nice to have different themes when cooking. This time I chose a colour and created the food menu after that! The colour was yellow and here are the picks. Enjoy!

ELLE-gala

Yesterday was my first Elle-gala night. Fantastic! I had won a design competition of designing the dress to the evenings leader of the gala; Josephine Bornebusch. The dress was inspired from the 1930's and made in silk velvet. Nervous and excited I sat among the celebrities to see how the dress finally looked at the stage... The evening was full of glamour, delicious food and dancing over midnight.

XMAS HOUSES

The creativity shouldn't stop during Christmas and since I am the "architect" for the yearly gingerbread Christmas house I have looked at different inspirations. The last years it has been the Bengtskär's lighthouse, Alvar Aalto house and a log home. I thought about going higher this year; some of these?

No doubt that Diane von Furstenberg's pre-fall 2011 collection is the best so far! Get inspired by the colour combinations - the perfect variety of shades and the minimalistic twist. I love it!
