EAT IN LA

Since bars and restaurants are always a big focus when I travel - LA had its pearls as well. Three winners in every category.
Best in Food; The Papaya and Avocado salad with grilled shrimps at The Ivy
Best in Cosy Atmosphere; Our Valentine dinner at Reel Inn Fresh Fish Restaurant - a surfer laid back influenced place with a lot of different seafood options.
Best in Party Atmosphere; Katana-Robata and Sushi Bar. A lot of people and a nice mood...

ROSE BOWL

In LA the most fantastic second hand place is Rose Bowl - every second weekend it is hold. The hard part is that you would like to buy so many things but it is hard to get it home with the plane... Enjoy!

CHINA

China feels as it is on its way to the top and we in the west are watching them go. I have several situation where China has become a topic in a discussion both in a political way but also in fashion or travelling. 

I went to see the Chinas Terracotta Army that is shown at the Östasiatiska museet in Stockholm - so amazing what they did during those days for their emperor. It took 700,000 men almost 40 years to complete - go and look before the 20th of February if you have time! This is how China was built.

Another interesting thing is that you can see kimono inspired garments in fashion in different styles as well as Asian influences in prints. My favourites are YSL and Rodebjer.

CARIN WESTER

Carin Wester fall/winter 2011 collection was very nice with the quality mixes and the transparent textures. My favourite is the white long shirt and the wide pants in a silk (?) mix. The bag is a perfect match as well!

SWAN

As you all know Nathalie Portman was fantastic in her role as the Swan in the movie Black Swan. This will and have already ofcourse affect the fashion. All good movies do. Here are some of the looks that you can get inspired of!

ACNE MEN
